Hello! I’m an Instructional Designer and eLearning Developer with a passion for supporting others in achieving their goals. Originally from the Boston area, and currently based near San Francisco, I take a creative, yet pragmatic, approach to designing and developing effective and engaging solutions for any learning challenge. I’m an experienced problem-solver with a proven ability to adapt my skills to various industries and learning technologies.
I bring to this role a foundation in film/TV and radio production, a background in print and digital journalism, training as a success coach, and experience across multiple industries, including technology, finance, business, advertising, healthcare, environmental, and education.
From Sesame Street to Silicon Valley to the conference rooms of multiple corporate and educational entities, I’ve often been called upon to train fellow colleagues and lead professional development for new hires. I embrace these opportunities and aim to learn something new with each course I develop.
My desire to keep learning both interactive and accessible frames my process—from design documents to storyboards to polished final products. I love collaborating with subject matter experts to create experiences that combine scenario-based learning with a comprehensive understanding of adult learning theory and principles. Whether using ADDIE, SAM or AGILE, I’m ready to kick off each project with a growth mindset and healthy sense of humor.
Outside of work, I enjoy watching sports (Go Sox!⚾), reading thrillers, hanging with my dogs and cat, and traveling with my family. I have visited 47 of the 50 states (and six Canadian provinces) and love venturing outdoors to hike, bike, kayak or run in each location.
I would welcome the opportunity to connect with you to discuss how my services could help your organization!
